Matt is on to talk about the inaugural "Robidoux Quick and Dirty", which will be held on Sunday, May 22nd.

The Robidoux Quick and Dirty is a 75 mile gravel sprint that runs through the Wildcat Hills of Scotts Bluff County.

You can race it for a cash prize, or pace it out like an adventure ride.

$300/200/100 for the fastest men and women.

The race promises fast roads and a glass of beer at the finish line.

Neal Blomenkamp and Bob Hessler join Kevin Mooney on KNEB's News Extra program Wednesday morning.

Life-Change-Connection and the Scottsbluff Elks Lodge are teaming up for their first "Toss Diabetes" Corn Toss Tournament on March 17th.

The event will be held at the Scottsbluff Elks Lodge with 5:30 p.m. check-in and the tournament starting at 6 p.m.

$50 early entry fee per two person team. ($75 after March 13th)
$10 cover charge to come and support your team. Cover charge includes food and non-alcoholic beverage.

Cedar Canyon Elementary 3rd grade teacher Monty Zeiler and 3rd grader Adrianna Lunnis join Kevin Mooney on KNEB's News Extra program Tuesday morning.

They are on the program to talk about the Cedar Canyon Elementary Booster Club Chili Supper and Dessert Auction at the school gym on Friday, February 26th from 6 to 8 p.m.

The cost is $5 for adults, $3 for children 12 and under, and free for kids under 5.

Josh Hodges joins Kevin Mooney on KNEB's News Extra program Monday morning.

Josh is on the program to talk about the Adult Softball organizational meeting coming up on March 1st. It will be held at Scottsbluff City Hall at 6:30 p.m.

In addition to Men, Women and Co-Ed teams, they are looking for individuals interested in being paid umpires.

Umpire training will be held March 20th, 4 p.m. at Scottsbluff Runza. Testing will be done on April 15th.

Tami Harveson and a group of Girl Scouts from Troop 10291 join Kevin Mooney on KNEB's News Extra program Monday morning.

The girls are on the program to talk about the "Foster Care Closet" project they have chosen to take on.  

The effort provides a supply of clothing for kids placed into Foster Care.  In 2015 the Closet helped more than 400 individuals across the Panhandle and beyond.

The girls picked this project in part due to a need for communication about constant supplies for the closet. The Closet needs new socks, new underwear, shoes, coats, clothes, toys, shelves, money, and helpers.

Michelle is on the program to talk about the Chimney Rock Four-Person Scramble Golf Tournament on July 16th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The cost is $75 per person with funds to benefit Bayard Parks and Golf.

They also talk about the current condition of the Bayard community with regard to commerce, housing, etc.
