This year's Plunge will be held on Saturday, February 27th at Riverside Park in Scottsbluff.

As a fundraiser for United Way of Western Nebraska, Sam & Louie's will be donating 15% of their sales on Thursday, January 28th to the United Way. Also, 15% on catering orders between now and January 29th is being donate toward the United Way's goal of $374,000.

Jo Mikesell joins Kevin Mooney on KNEB's News Extra program Tuesday morning to talk about a Benefit Volleyball Tournament coming up on February 13th at the Scottsbluff YMCA.

The all-day tournament will be held as a fundraising benefit for Keaton Bell, who was recently diagnosed with epiatheloid angiosarcoma stage IV. The benefit will assist Keaton and his family with expenses.

Registration forms available at the YMCA or on the Scottsbluff YMCA website.

Entry forms are due by February 1st.

WNCC Financial Aid Director Sheila Johns joins Kevin Mooney on KNEB's News Extra program Thursday morning.

Western Nebraska Community College financial aid staff is hosting several student and parent nights throughout the panhandle in January and February to share important information and answer any questions. "Financial Aid 101" is open and free to anyone planning to attend any college.

WNCC's financial aid presentation includes information on FAFSA forms, scholarships, PELL grants, and student loans. There are door prizes at each location, including scholarships to WNCC.

Terrytown will soon be going to a metering system for water, and they are on the program to talk about the upcoming changes and how they will impact citizens of Terrytown and the Bellevue addition in the near future.
