Jack Preston joins Kevin Mooney on KNEB's News Extra program Monday morning to talk about the 19th annual Harvest Festival at Legacy of the Plains in Gering.

It will be held September 19th and 20th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Watch as a Gering woman wins a 50th anniversary commemorative 2015 Mustang GT as KNEB’s summer long Pony Express promotion came to an end at Fremont Motors Saturday.

Denise Wright’s Queen of Hearts matched Fremont Motors General Manager Phil Brooker’s Queen of Hearts as she was the winner from among ten finalists Saturday afternoon.

Wright was ecstatic as KNEB’s Bill Boyer helped her she climbed into the $40,000 car. Wright jokingly warned state troopers listening to the broadcast “I like to drive fast!”

The vehicle is a deep impact blue car. the other finalists, who all received prize packages, were Sylvia Lopez of Scottsbluff, John Kaiser of Alliance, Tammie Welsh of Gering, Monica Cunnigham, of Bridgeport, Gary Glass of Torrington, Lynn Shepard of Morrill, Trent McVicker of Bridgeport, Tim White of Gering, and Denis Glau of Scottsbluff.

Larry Gibbs joins Kevin Mooney on KNEB's News Extra program Wednesday morning.

Larry is on the program to promote the 9th annual Free Coin & Stamp Collectors Show on Saturday, August 29th at the Gering Civic Center.

There will be several new additions to this year's show. Also a special feature at this year's show will be a collection box for donated stamps or coins for the "Veterans National Stamp and Coin Club.

Another new feature of this year's show will be a table with a representative of the ANACS of Englewood, Colorado. Established in 1972, it is America's oldest Coin Grading and Authentication Service. They will have a show special for those wishing to submit coins, tokens or medals for grading and authentication at a much lower than usual fee.
